3D Cube End-Grain Cutting Board #5
I love this 3D design, and that every time I view this board from a different angle, I see a different type of cube staring back at me. Opposed to the more traditional style, I elongated the cubes into rectangles for this board. Made from Cherry, Maple, and Padauk, and with a complete border of African Mahogany, she’s an absolute beauty. And an end-grain construction, which means that it’s self-healing and reticent to show knife marks. To expand the functionality of this board, one surface bears a juice groove to keep your counter clean whenever you’re working with tomatoes, meats, or any other such items. The opposite side of the board is untouched, presenting you with a pristine surface for use as a serving tray, or perhaps a larger cutting surface if you desire it.
