End-Grain Cutting Board
This board was a unique challenge. While there’s nothing inherently difficult in crafting an end-grain board, this commission had a special request - the client provided trays they wanted stored on the underside of the board, for holding various chopped items when cooking. But with a little time and a lot of excavating, that vision was realized.
Crafted from Padauk, African Mahogany, and Elm, this board is an absolute delight to the eyes. The colors pair beautifully and the Padauk really makes this board pop. Measuring ~21” x 13” x 2”, this beauty is a beast, and happily in its Forever Home.
