Heirloom Jewelry Box #2
This is the second box in the Heirloom collection, and it’s absolutely stunning. The body is made from a beautiful piece of Bastogne Walnut. The box bears a complete grain-wrap, which gives the appearance of the wood flowing continuously around all 4 sides. The lid and bottom, as well as the interior tray are crafted from a single piece of absolutely gorgeous quilted maple. The removable, sliding tray is fabric-lined to provide a soft space for rings or other items. I’m so grateful I could showcase the work that Mother Nature put in to these materials, and create a truly functional work of art.
