This is the third box in the Heirloom collection, and it’s absolutely stunning. The entire box - the walls, the lid, the base, the tray - is made from a single billet of curly maple. The box bears a complete grain-wrap, which gives the appearance of the wood flowing continuously around all 4 sides. The removable, sliding tray is fabric-lined to provide a soft space for rings or other items. I’m so grateful I could showcase the work that Mother Nature put in to these materials, and create a truly functional work of art.
