End-Grain Cutting Board
This gorgeous, end-grain board was crafted from Padauk, Walnut, Purpleheart, Maple, and African Mahogany. Simple and understated, the only “features” of this board are rounded edges and finger grooves, but that simplicity only adds to its appeal. As with nearly all my cutting boards, I didn’t add feet to the bottom; this allows the use of both surfaces - one for cutting and one for display. The finger wells on each edge add an ease of maneuverability that’s worth all the time it takes to add them. Lastly, this board was personalized with two engravings - one of the owners name and the other of their alma mater.
