Bathtub Tray from reclaimed wood

$75.00

This tray is SO cool! Occasionally I’m able to salvage old wood and I love turning that lumber into art. This bathtub/serving tray was once a section of front door to a home here in New Orleans. I removed the old paint, cleaned everything up, added an epoxy inlay, round the edges, and finished her off with Tung oil. The species of wood is unknown but given its frequent use in New Orleans construction, this piece is likely made from cypress.

Whether you use it as a serving tray, bath try, or both, it’s incredibly stunning. The epoxy definitely added the necessary element to take it over the top. She measures 33” long, so go measure your tub!

Dimensions: 33” x 11” x 1”
